The One Result That Didn't Go Falcons' Way
Falcons have won two of their three meetings with Legacy this year and hold a 5-3 edge on maps across those series. Both wins came clean — 2-0 in an earlier CS Asia Championships meeting on May 22, and 2-0 again at FISSURE Playground 2 back in September 2025.
The exception was the one that mattered most. Two days after that first CS Asia Championships loss, Legacy met Falcons again — this time in the grand final — and reversed it, coming from a map down to win 3-1. It's still the best result of Legacy's year, and the only time anyone has beaten Falcons in a final in 2026.
Two Clean Wins to Get Here
Both sides arrive off the same kind of result: a 2-0 sweep in the Round of 16. Legacy took care of NAVI in the third meeting of an otherwise even rivalry. Falcons did the same to The MongolZ, extending a win streak that now stands at three series.
Neither side needed a decider to get here. Whatever happens in the quarterfinal, both teams reach it in good form.
No Rematch This Time
Best-of-three, single-elimination — there's no format cushion here the way there was in May. Whoever wins moves on to face the winner of Vitality vs. Spirit in the semi-final, the tournament's other match on this side of the bracket. Falcons enter as the higher-ranked side by a wide margin, but Legacy have already shown, on the one occasion it counted most, that the gap doesn't always hold up when the trophy is actually on the line.
