R8 Revolver | Fade released December 8, 2015 as part of the Revolver Case.

It originally released during the CS:GO era, before Valve's Counter-Strike 2 relaunch in September 2023 — its artwork, wear range, and source carried over unchanged into CS2.

It launched as a Covert-tier finish, with both a StatTrak™ and a Souvenir edition.

As a finish, "Fade" is applied to the R8 Revolver — a six-shot, double-action revolver capable of a one-shot kill to the chest at close-to-medium range — and carries the red rarity color every Covert-tier skin shares on the Steam Market and in-game.
