AK-47 | Gold Arabesque released September 22, 2021 as part of the 2021 Dust 2 Collection.

It originally released during the CS:GO era, before Valve's Counter-Strike 2 relaunch in September 2023 — its artwork, wear range, and source carried over unchanged into CS2.

It launched as a Covert-tier finish, with a Souvenir edition but no StatTrak™ version.

As a finish, "Gold Arabesque" is applied to the AK-47 — the Terrorists' classic assault rifle, known for high per-shot damage and a one-shot headshot kill at most ranges — and carries the red rarity color every Covert-tier skin shares on the Steam Market and in-game.

That Covert classification places it among the rarest tier a regular CS2 skin can reach — only Extraordinary knife and glove finishes rank above it.

AK-47 | Gold Arabesque ships in all five wear conditions, but its float is capped between 0.00 and 0.70 — narrower than the full 0.00–1.00 range some other skins allow.
